Through the Lens of My Camera

My father is a photographer (along with many other things).  As I was growing up I loved sitting in the dark room as he developed his film and prints.  I was thrilled to receive an Exa 35 mm camera for my tenth Christmas.  Ever since then the desire to capture nature’s beauty makes me look closely at the amazing world around me.  Thanks, Dad!

The Beauty of Nature

My Dad took this picture of me on an early morning photo hike, up toward the Maroon Bells, as I recall.  That is the Exa strap around my neck, and I had the honor of carrying Dad’s tripod.
