I’ve had the good fortune of meeting many amazing people who do a variety of things, some of whom are highlighted in the

Pamela Gerloff
Pamela Gerloff is the best editor a writer could ever have (she edited the More than

create and conduct programs to address rankism.

Jeff Golden
I met Jeff Golden at the Transpartisan Alliance Conference. He has put together a
great program for small governmental organizations called Building Civic Communities.
He is a writer, blogger and radio show host. I particularly recommend Unafraid, a novel
that imagines President Kennedy survives the assassination attempt to be a truly
courageous leader.
George Stranahan
Amongst the many things he is (and does), my father, George Stranahan is a
photographer and as he has aged, he has become quite a philosopher and writer. A
few years ago, he created what he calls a phlog – a photo blog. He posts one
of his photographs and a story about it – whether it is literally true or not, it
reveals something of him. It, and he, have inspired me to share my thoughts
and my view of the world.
